Physical Education

Physical activity positively impacts the academic growth and development of children.  Developing motor skills and healthy behaviors at an early age provides the foundation for a confident person who embraces lifelong health and movement.

Physical Education classes are taught daily by our credentialed Physical Education teacher to meet the California Department of Education Code's required PE minutes.  We use the SPARK Physical Education program which aligns itself with the California and National Physical Education Standards.  Our PE curriculum also integrates the rigor of the Common Core Language Arts and Math Standards.

In addition, English Language Arts are also integrated into the physical education curriculum to support  more language skill development.

Our goal is for all students to be physically fit, healthy, and well-rounded.
